My struggle with blogs
I've always liked the idea of having a blog. For me, it's not just about sharing my experiences with others but also about finding my own voice and having a record to look back on.
The problem is that whenever I start building a blog, I get distracted.
Picture this:
You're setting off to become the Pokémon master. You've played all the Pokémon games. You know what moves are super effective against what Pokémon, what setups you need to have the highest chance to win.
But then, you realize that there is a whole level of optimization with Pokémon, called IV breeding and EV training. After realizing this, you realize you NEED the perfect starter. So you save-scum for days until you get the starter with the perfect IVs. Now, you're ready to get started.
But wait!
You can't become the Pokémon master with only one Pokémon. You need a full team!
But, hey, you want a team with perfect IVs. Surely, a real Pokémon master has a team with perfect stats.
So, you stay in the starting area, catching Pokémon after Pokémon until you finally find enough perfect Pokémon to fill your team.
Now, the adventure begins!
But wait, you need to train your Pokémon to have perfect EVs. In order to do this, you must have your team fight certain types of Pokémon to ensure they have the best EV stat distribution. So, you grind, slaughtering an entire population of Marills.
Surely, now you can start your journey to become a Pokémon master.
40 years have passed since you initially wanted to set off. Pokémon battles are now considered animal abuse. You never even left the starting line.
This is me. I am so OBSESSED with building the website, that I don't end up making the blog.
So... I hope I can motivate myself to actually build something this time.
Wish me luck!
